This cow was spotted off Eldams Road, Alwarpet resting in part sunshine and part shade. ‘Manjal’ and ‘kumkumam’ had already been applied on the cow along with bells and awaiting to be adorned with colourful cloth. The cow is an integral part of the Pongal festival in Mylapore and grandly decorated ones are a common sight over the next few days.
