Madhuradhwani, a music sabha based in Luz is hosting a Lec Dem on 15th August by the wellknown violinist, V S Narasimhan,
“Exploring the Scope in Carnatic Music: Adaptations from Western Music” is the theme of this lec-dem and it starts at 6.00pm and is open to all.
A veteran violinist who has mastered the Carnatic as well as the Western classical music styles, Narasimhan has led the Madras String Quartet for many years and enabled Westerns understand and appreciate Carnatic music by playing it via the Western classical mode.
