Chettinad Hari Shree Vidyalayam will be hosting the Category 2 (Class X and below), Stage 1 Frank Antony Memorial, All India- Inter School Competition on Friday, July 12.
The school will be hosting the first level of the Frank Antony Memorial Debate at the zonal level. The event will involve 8 participating teams from Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
The winning team will then represent the zone at the next level of the debate. The competition culminates at the national level and is a great forum for talented students from member schools to display their eloquence in the English language, says Dr J Sundar, Co ordinator at the host school.
The Frank Antony Memorial debate is a platform for the students of the CISCE board to exhibit their eloquence in the English language.
It is an annual tradition conducted in honour of Frank Antony, a renowned lawyer and educationist who also was the founder chairman of the CISCE council that is popularly known as ICSE & ISC board. Antony was also the Chairman for the Inter- State Board for Anglo- Indian Education.
