Tattvaloka is hosting Dimbhakotsav, a childrens’ camp on Indian art and culture from May 20 to 25, 9.00 am – 1.30 pm

Tattvãloka is an English monthly of Sringeri Sharadha Peetham and promotes devotion not only among the grown ups, but also children through articles, stories, puzzles and pictures. It largely helps in character building.
For this children’s camp this summer, specialists in their field and experts at relating to children will be the resource persons for the activities. Storytelling, Origami and Spoken Sanskrit sessions will introduce the children to Indian world of culture. The children will be taught to be self reliant and make their own healthy snack.

JOURNALISM
Mylapore Times has three slots open this summer for college students as part of internships on offer. Two for those keen to report and write and work online. One for those who are good at database and info-management.
The first assignment will need you to attend edit work in office for an hour, go out into the field to work on news stories for an hour and then file them daily. If this assignment interests you, you need to mail a short report on any news event in your area – we need to judge your info gathering and writing skills. The assignment runs 15 days, Mon to Sat.
For the second assignment, you will need to collate all useful info and contacts we have and tailor them for a database. One hour at our office, Mon to Sat., 15 days.
