Veenavaadhini is presenting a thematic veena concert on March 24, 6 p.m. commemmorating the jayanthi of Muthuswamy Dikshitar.
The theme: “Ramayana Through Dikshitar Krithis”
The artistes are – Jeyaraaj and Jaysri – veena, Mannarkoil J Balaji – mridangam and Rajani Arjun Shankar – narration
Each composition rendered on the veena by the duo will be preceded by a narration of the meaning of the lyrics and also be sung in portions by the duo..
