MYLAPORE TIMES is now offering young people the experience of training at this newspaper. This is a summertime offer for senior school students.
You will spend an hour in office, an hour in the neighbourhood and an hour filing reports from home.
Each trainee has to spend 3 weeks at the weekly.
But you need to prove yourself before the newspaper signs you in. To do this you must mail 2 news stories based on any event in and around Mylapore.
Each report must be in about 70 words. Mail to – mytimesedit@gmail.com. Also tell the newspaper’s editor, in 5 lines who you are!
Only four slots are open and the best will be chosen on first come first serve basis. The best trainees also get a certificate.
