Watch a Hollywood classic

Vintage Hollywood Classics Club is screening a Hollywood  crime thriller Laura (1944)  at  Arkay Convention Centre, Luz at 6.15  pm on March 10. Film historian Randor Guy will talk about the film.  Non-members will be charged Rs.100/- for admission.

Evening of Indian Choral Music

In remembrance of the 25th anniversary of music composer – director M B Srinivasan’s passing away, the Madras Youth Choir is presenting an evening of Indian choral music on March 9 at the Russian Cultural Centre, Alwarpet.

The show will include performances by all wings of the MYC, other choral groups fostered by the MYC, as well the winners of the inter-school choral music competition.

M. B. Srinivasan was a torch-bearer of the choral singing movement in India and he set up the Madras Youth Choir (MYC) in 1971.
