P. A. Singaravelu a resident of Bishops Garden passed away on May 15. He was a resident of R. A. Puram for 5 years. He was 76 years.
Singaravelu was the son of P. Arumuga Mudaliar from Putlur (near Tirupathi).
He completed his engineering from Annamalai University and started his own business as a civil contractor in Hydrabad.
He built many landmark buildings in Hyderabad like the Birla Planetarium, the Birla Science Museum and a telephone exchange, says his daughter.
He is survived by his wife Geetha, daughters Radhika, Vidya and Anita.
