ABHAI (Association of Bharatanatyam Artistes of India) organised a seminar at Narada Gana Sabha to mark World Dance Day.
The seminar was on the theme Socio-Economic Issues of Dancers, Then and Now.
It looked at the status of dancers, their standing as artistes and in the community and the challenges they faced, issues endured in the past and today.
The seminar was inaugurated by Leela Samson, Chairperson, Sangeet Natak Akademi.
