    Good Afternoon

Ref: 1] Location: Door No: 25-26 Thiru-Vi-Ka 3rd Street, off Royapettah High Rd, Mylapore, Chennai 600004
2] As per information found in the Compont Wall in the Street: Ward No: 96 Zone:8 Mandal:6
3] Chennai Metro Water Dept First Complaint No: 2121915 dt 26 Sep 2012 Registered between 13:25 and 15:30hrs and acknowledgement obtain at 18:41hrs

Ref to the complaint no: 21212915 dt 26 Sep 2012. Which has been attended by Chennai Metro Water service department twice and sent an sms on 29-Sep-2012 stating that complaint attended and the case closed. We are happy with the confirmation until 08:00 hrs on 30Sep2012.

Once again the sewerage blockage started from 08:00hrs on Sunday 30-Sep-2012 and area flooded with sewerage water which:
    a) leads to movement of public in this location
    b) affect the environment
    c) room for Mosquito breeding
    d) affecting neighbourhood school children (who attend weekday and weekend classes)
    e) Vehicle flashing the sewerage water on the walkers

Neighbouring Security guard reported that due to odour they are afraid of their health. Unable to attend their duty due to breathing difficulty of odour.

Kindly resolve the issue immediately on permanenet basis.

    Thanking you

    With Warm Regards
    Indian Citizen

  3. The drainage potholes just outside of the back entrance of Nageshwara Rao park is partially opened and the sewage is almost overflowing. 2 of the manholes are not closed properly and there are many kids and old people who gather at the park each and every day for various kinds of excercises and relaxations. It has been a major public nuisance and still the manholes are not covered which poses a major threat to all pedestrians. Since the Drainage is on the pavement, it is not possible to walk on the pavement and because of the open manholes, people are forced to walk on the main road where there are vehicles passing by all the time.

  4. Accumulation and overflow of Garbage at the blind end of Luz Church Road 2nd Street–a perennial headache.

Reportedly, corporation personnel have not come / refused to clear garbage for last10 days anticipating extortionist “DiwaliGifts”. Denial of Service as a quid pro quo by vested interests brings irreparable damage to your image and public goodwill also causing serious health hazard.

Timely action and consistent remedy will go a long way in restoring the credentials of the civic authority that has long been eroded by un-authorised “Diwali-TAX COLLECTORS” in the name of the civic authority or otherwise.
