The chitrai festival of Sri Madhava Perumal Temple, Mylapore is celebrated till May 5.
Ther procession was held on May 2 at 6 a.m. Seen in the picture are some of the devotees helping to pulling the ther around the main streets of the temple.
The pallakku will be held on May 4 from 7.30 a.m. onwards.
