A miniature version of the tank has been erected inside Sri Kapali Temple as part of the annual Vasantha Utsavam celebration. It features the central mantap and a teppam too.
Daily rituals held at the temple are related to the summer season and ways to seek relief from the heat. This celebration is on till May 3.
