R. Thiagarajan, 92 years, retired Director, Geological Survey of India, son of V. Rathakrishna Iyer, passed away on Feb 11 at SSM Residency/Hindu Mission Hospital Tambaram.
He is survived by his son, T. Viswanathan, grandchildren Chitra and Ashwin , many nieces and nephews and great granddaughter. He was a long time resident of Mylapore. Phone 22792355.
B. Hemavathy, a resident of Mandaveli passed away on February 6 at the age of 65.
She lost her husband at a very early age and brought up he son and daughter successfully.
She leaves behind one son, R. Balaji a daughter, P. Latha, daughter-in-law B. Thilagam and son-in-law, A. Jayaprakash.
