The family of the late flute vidwan Nataraja Iyer has been carrying on the tradition of Tyagaraja Aradhana for 163 years. This year it is their 164th event which takes place on Monday January 24 at 5 p.m. at 12, Mathella Nrayanan Street, Mylapore.
The Pancharatna kritis will be rendered by Dr. Rukmini Ramani (daughter of musician Papanasan Sivan) and party, Thiruvarur N S Rajam and Balam (sister of flutist Ramani), musician Yogam Santhanam and her students and Nagai Narayanan, along with rasikas.
