Sangeetha Vidwan V. Rajammal Vijayaraghavan passed way in Chennai on December 2 at the age of 86.
She lived at 50/1, Vedanta Desikar Street, Pelathope, Mylapore.
Rajamal was a disciple of well known musicians like T. M. Thiagarajan and T. R. Subramaniam and was also a Grade ‘A’ AIR artiste.
She comes in the direct lineage of Tillasthanam Rama Iyengar, a direct disciple of saint Thiagaraja.
Through her association with renowned musicians she had a successful career in the music world,
