The students of Santhome Hr. Sec. School had their Christmas celebration on December 3. Geetha Jeevan, state minister for social welfare inaugurated the mid-day meals block in the campus. A.T.M. Philip Joseph, GM of Indian Bank and Jayakumar Daniel, executive director of Seesha were the chief guests.
A Christmas party was held on December 15 for the students of Lazarus Middle School in Mylapore. Students put up a dance and skit performance. Snacks sponsored by the Mylapore Times Charitable Trust were given to 1100 students.
Rosary Matric School in San Thome had its Christmas party this past week. The school band welcomed the guests and the primary students put up a Biblical play. They also danced to some peppy tunes. Later, senior students had a party on Friday afternoon.
